Khodam Djinn In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. The supplication of our master Gabriel, peace be upon him, is one of the established and preserved supplications from the Ahlulbayt. It is one of the supplications that has been tried repeatedly, and the great sheikhs used to give it only with a covenant and permission, because of the secrets and lights it contains that must be protected from the ignorant or from those who want to use it in a way that does not please God Almighty.

This is some of what has been mentioned of the virtues of the supplication of our master Gabriel, peace be upon him, from Bihar al-Anwar: It was narrated on the authority of the Commander of the Faithful, Ali, peace be upon him, on the authority of the Prophet (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family), that he said: Gabriel (peace be upon him) descended while I was praying behind the Station of Abraham. He said: When I finished, I asked forgiveness of God Almighty for my nation. Gabriel (peace be upon him) said to me: O Muhammad, I see you are eager for your nation, and God Almighty is merciful to His servants.

The Prophet (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family) said to Gabriel (peace be upon him): O my brother, you are my beloved and the beloved of my nation, teach me a supplication so that my nation will remember me after me. Gabriel (peace be upon him) said to me: I advise you to command your nation to fast the three white days of each month: the thirteenth, fourteenth, and fifteenth. And I advise you, O Muhammad, to command your nation to recite this noble supplication. The bearers of the Throne carry the Throne by the blessing of this supplication. By the blessing of this supplication, I descend to Earth and ascend to Heaven. This supplication is written on the gates of Paradise, on its chambers, on its balconies, and on its mansions.

By it, the gates of Paradise are opened, and by it, creation will be gathered on the Day of Resurrection by the command of God, the Exalted and Glorified. Whoever among your nation recites this supplication, God, the Exalted and Glorified, will remove from him the torment of the grave and grant him security from the Great Terror and from the afflictions of this world and the Hereafter by its blessing. Whoever recites it, God will save him from the torment of Hellfire. Then the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) asked Gabriel (peace be upon him) about the reward of this supplication. Gabriel (peace be upon him) said, “O Muhammad, you have asked me about something I cannot describe, and none knows its extent except God.

O Muhammad, even if all the trees of the world were pens, the seas ink, and all of creation scribes, they could not comprehend the reward of the one who recites this supplication. No servant recites this and desires Whoever recites this supplication, God Almighty will free him and deliver him from the shackles of servitude. No one recites it in sorrow without God relieving his distress and grief. No one with a need recites it without God Almighty fulfilling it for him in this world and the Hereafter, God willing. God will protect him from sudden death (the grave) and from worldly poverty. God Almighty will grant him intercession on the Day of Resurrection, and his face will be smiling. God Almighty will admit him, by the blessing of this supplication, to the Abode of Peace.

God will settle him in the chambers of Paradise and clothe him in the garments of Paradise that never wear out. Whoever recites this supplication, God Almighty will write for him the reward of Gabriel, Michael, Israfil, Azrael, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad, peace and blessings of God be upon them all. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: “I was amazed at the abundance of rewards that Gabriel mentioned for the reciter of this supplication. Then he said, ‘O Muhammad, there is no one from your nation who recites this supplication once in his lifetime without God resurrecting him on the Day of Resurrection with his face shining like the moon on a bright night.’” Then the people will say, "Who is this?

Is he a prophet?" The angels will tell them, "This is neither a prophet nor an angel, but rather a servant of God Almighty, a descendant of Adam, who recited this supplication once in his life, and God Almighty honored him." With this honor, then Gabriel (peace be upon him) said to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family): “O Muhammad, whoever recites this supplication five times will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment, and I will be standing at his grave with a steed from Paradise. I will not leave my post until he mounts that steed and does not dismount except in the Abode of Bliss, abiding eternally therein, with no reckoning, in the company of Abraham (peace be upon him) and in the company of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).

I guarantee to whoever recites this supplication, male or female, that God Almighty will not punish him, even if his sins are more numerous than the foam of the sea, the drops of rain, the leaves of the trees, and the number of creatures in Paradise and Hell. God Almighty commands that the reward of a blessed Hajj and an accepted Umrah be written for whoever recites this supplication. O Muhammad, whoever recites this supplication five times before sleeping, in a state of purity, will see you in his dream, and you will give him glad tidings of Paradise. And whoever is hungry or thirsty and finds nothing to eat or drink, or is sick and recites this supplication, God Almighty will relieve him.” By the blessing of this supplication, he will be fed, given drink, and have his needs in this world and the hereafter fulfilled.

If someone has had something stolen from him or his slave has run away, he should rise, purify himself, and pray two or four rak'ahs, reciting in each rak'ah the Opening Chapter of the Book (Al-Fatihah) once and Surah Al-Ikhlas twice. After completing the prayer, he should recite this supplication and place the written text before him or under his head. Then, by the blessing of this supplication, God Almighty will unite the East and the West and return the runaway slave, God willing. If he fears an enemy, he should recite this supplication for himself, and God Almighty will place him in a secure refuge, and his enemies will not be able to harm him. There is no servant who recites it while in debt except that God Almighty will settle it and facilitate someone to settle it for him, God willing.

Whoever recites it for a sick person, God will heal him by its blessing. If a sincere and devoted servant recites it for God Almighty on a mountain, the mountain will move by God Almighty's permission. Whoever recites it with pure intention over water, the water will freeze. Do not be surprised by the virtue I have mentioned in this supplication, for it contains the Greatest Name of God Almighty. The reciter recites it, and the angels, jinn, and humans hear it and supplicate. For its reader, and God Almighty answers their prayers, and all of that is by the blessing of God Almighty and by the blessing of this supplication. And whoever believes in God and His Messenger and in this supplication, let him not let his heart be deceived by what is mentioned in this supplication. And God provides for whomever He wills without measure.

And whoever reads it, memorizes it, or copies it, let him not withhold it from any of the Muslims. And the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: I never recited this supplication in a battle except that I was victorious over my enemies by its blessing. And he (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: Whoever recites this supplication will be given the light of the saints in his face, and every difficulty will be made easy for him. - Bihar al-Anwar - Allamah Majlisi - Vol. 92 - Page 367 - And it was narrated in the source: Muhaj al-Da’awat, Sayyid Ibn Tawus: p. 79 - And it was narrated in Misbah al-Kaf’ami p. 344. Glory be to Him, the God, how powerful He is, and glory be to Him, the Almighty, how great He is. Glory be to Him, how magnificent He is! Glory be to Him, how sublime He is! Glory be to Him, how merciful He is! Glory be to Him, how compassionate He is! Glory be to Him, how mighty He is! Glory be to Him, how great He is! Glory be to Him, how ancient He is! Glory be to Him, how exalted He is! Glory be to Him, how sublime He is! Glory be to Him, how glorious He is! Glory be to Him, how magnificent He is! How radiant He is! Glory be to Him, the Illuminator of what He has revealed! Glory be to Him, the Manifest of what He has concealed! Glory be to Him, the Knower of what He has hidden! Glory be to Him, the All-Knowing, the Generous! Glory be to Him, the Kind, the Subtle! Glory be to Him, the All-Seeing, the All-Hearing!

Glory be to Him, the All-Hearing, the All-Preserving! Glory be to Him, the Guardian, the All-Encompassing! Glory be to Him, the Abundant, the All-Sufficient! Glory be to Him, the Fulfilling, the All-Encompassing! Glory be to Him, the Rich, the All-Giving! Glory be to Him, the Giver, the All-Encompassing! Glory be to Him, the All-Encompassing, the Most Generous! Glory be to Him, the Most Bountiful, the Most Excellent! Glory be to Him, the Bestower of Favors, the Most Generous! Glory be to Him, the Beneficent, the Most Masterful! Glory be to Him, the Master, the Most Merciful! Glory be to Him, the Most Compassionate!

How severe He is, and glory be to Him, how severe He is, how strong He is, and glory be to Him, how strong He is, how praiseworthy He is, and glory be to Him, how wise He is, and glory be to Him, how powerful He is, and glory be to Him, how powerful He is, and glory be to Him, how enduring He is, and glory be to Him, how eternal He is, and glory be to Him, how everlasting He is, and glory be to Him, how unique He is, and glory be to Him, how singular He is, and glory be to Him, how self-sufficient He is, and glory be to Him, how powerful He is, and glory be to Him, how generous He is, and glory be to Him, how great He is, and glory be to Him, how perfect He is, and glory be to Him, how complete He is, and glory be to Him, how wondrous He is, and glory be to Him, how magnificent He is, and glory be to Him, how distant He is, and glory be to Him, how near He is, even though He is far.

Glory be to Him, the One who is near, yet how He prevents; glory be to Him, the One who prevents, yet how He overcomes; glory be to Him, the One who overcomes, yet how He pardons; glory be to Him, the One who pardons, how excellent He is; glory be to Him, the One who bestows, how beautiful He is; glory be to Him, the One who bestows, how He accepts; glory be to Him, the One who accepts, how grateful He is; glory be to Him, the One who is thankful, how He forgives; glory be to Him, the One who is forgiving, how patient He is; glory be to Him, the One who is patient, how He compels; glory be to Him, the One who compels, how He judges; glory be to Him, the Judge, how He decrees; glory be to Him, the Judge, how He executes; glory be to Him, the One who carries out, how He executes; glory be to Him, the One who carries out, how He is forbearing; glory be to Him, the One who is forbearing, how He creates; glory be to Him, the Creator, how He provides; glory be to Him, the Provider, how He subdues; glory be to Him, the Subduer, how He creates; glory be to Him, the One who He is the Originator of what I possess, and glory be to Him who owns what He has bestowed, and glory be to Him who is the Guardian of what He has raised, and glory be to Him who is the Exalted of what He has made noble, and glory be to Him who is the Noble of what He has made expansive, and glory be to Him who is the Expander of what He has withheld, and glory be to Him who is the Withholder of what He has revealed, and glory be to Him who is the Originator of what He has sanctified, and glory be to Him who is the Holy of what He has made manifest, and glory be to Him who is the Manifest of what He has purified, and glory be to Him who is the Pure of what He has guided, and glory be to Him who is the Guide of what He has made truthful, and glory be to Him who is the Truthful of what He has accustomed, and glory be to Him who is the Returner of what He has created, and glory be to Him who is the Creator of what He has nurtured, and glory be to Him who is the Shepherd of what He has aided, and glory be to Him who is the Helper of what He has bestowed, and glory be to Him who is the Giver of what He has made repentant, and glory be to Him who is the Acceptor of repentance of what He has generously given, and glory be to Him who is the Generous is He who aids him, and glory be to Him who aids him who delivers him, and glory be to Him who grants him peace who heals him, and glory be to Him who heals him who saves him, and glory be to Him who delivers him who is righteous, and glory be to Him who is righteous in what he seeks, and glory be to Him who seeks him who attains him, and glory be to Him who attains him who guides him, and glory be to Him who is rightly guided in what he is compassionate, and glory be to Him who is compassionate in what he is just, and glory be to Him who is just in what he is perfect, and glory be to Him who is perfect in what he is wise, and glory be to Him who is wise in what he is responsible for, and glory be to Him who is the guarantor of what he is witnessing, and glory be to Him who is the witness whom I praise, and glory be to Him, He is God the Great, and praise be to Him, and all praise is due to God There is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest, and all praise is due to Allah.

There is no power nor strength except with Allah, the Most High, the Almighty. He repels every calamity, and Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs. It is written, read, perfumed, and fumigated with the intention of the seeker, and placed in a silver house specially made for it. Whoever carries it in a state of purity and with a good intention, relying on Allah Almighty, will see wonders and marvels in it, and has tried it repeatedly.
